Real estate is where my investor and builder sides meet — underwriting deals, valuing assets, and thinking about how the built world gets financed. I've worked it from a few angles: an institutional student fund, hands-on syndication underwriting, and public-market REIT research.
Student-run institutional fund
Pitched $500K allocations across first-lien, mezzanine debt, and equity into an institutional RE fund and a downtown Austin multifamily project. Actively managed a >$1m portfolio of publicly traded REITs with a pairs trading approach.
Transcend Group Holdings
Built DCF and pro-forma models for Austin-area development, sourced target land, and prepared investor materials for development deals.
Course Quantitative Investment Management
Back-tested a statistical-arbitrage pairs-trading strategy on U.S. public REITs in Python (Pandas, BeautifulSoup); pitched a 50-bps overweight in a $1.2M REIT portfolio.

I'm a financial analyst who values companies across asset classes — from merger/acquisitions to growth-equity portfolios to real estate and credit.
